Why it goes wrong: a common mistake is to subtract 3/4 − 1/3 and answer 5/12 — reading “1/3 of it” as another amount to take away, instead of a fraction of the 3/4. Kyly names that mistake, then shows the thinking: the 1/3 eaten leaves 2/3, and 2/3 × 3/4 = 1/2 kg.
PSLE Science: Why do car tyres have deep treads (grooves)?
Why it goes wrong: the common mistake is to pick “to reduce friction so the tyres last longer” — reading the grooves as something that makes the tyre smoother. The step-by-step Maths problem sums come at your child's own level: 156 P4 questions across 13 topics, 192 P5 questions across 16 topics, the 400-question PSLE bank for P6, and 450 Sec 1 and 450 Sec 2 questions across 18 secondary topics each. The multiple-choice drill is PSLE-level for every child, and Sec 1 and Sec 2 English are written too; secondary Science and Chinese are not written yet.
